Twist 'n Turn (TNT) Barbie Dolls
The Twist 'n Turn (TNT) Barbie Doll was the first Mod Barbie Doll to be introduced into the market and had a brand new look. She had long, straight hair (red, blonde or brunette) with bangs and a small bow for her ponytail. Barbie had blue eyes, rooted eyelashes, bendable legs, a twist and turn waist. Boys and girls could mail in their Ponytail Barbie to Mattel and receive a "trade-in" TNT Barbie doll which came specially packaged in what is known as a trade in box.
In 1969, TNT Barbie got a new hair style commonly referred to as the "Marlo Flip" inspired by the hit TV show "That Girl". She came three hair color variations: Blonde and Brunette and a Reddish Brown. She has beautiful fresh high coloring, rooted lashes and twist waist body with bendable legs.
