April 3, 2012 Royal Update: We will be shipping customers ONE set per order, in fairness to all. We are filling the orders first in first out so if you don't receive your doll on the first wave, we are crossing our fingers that more might be arriving mid April. We have been in constant contact with Mattel, as it is certainly not our intent to disappoint our customers, but know we are doing the best we can. Thank you for your patience and understanding. ********************** We know many have been following the Bald Barbie topic. This trending topic has received nationwide attention, and it was reported that Mattel will be making the doll. We have asked for official word and when we receive information, will be sure to post. This is the latest information we have seen, March 27, 2012 Just a few tidbits of things to be on the lookout in the 2012 Barbie line: There will be another Silkstone Francie; one version a Platinum No Bangs with kitten and another a AA Silkstone Francie. We do not have confirmation which one of these will be a bc.com exclusive, but dealers will be able to offer one of these to customers. There will be one more doll in the Twilight series and just one doll from the Hunger Games. An "over the top" Bob Mackie doll will be available year end. Midge will be celebrating her big 50 next year and Mattel has something special planned! There will be more DOW in the works with Hawaii being one of the new dolls for next year. Mod repros are a big hit with collectors and are being considered as part of the 2013 line. Silkstone Fans: All five dolls have been sneaked (we are still waiting for official Mattel photos of the fiery redhead in the yellow gown). For those Bill Greening Fans the next in the Galaxy Series will be called Empress of the Aliens, available only on bc.com (sorry). She will be out the end of June.
