DOLL ATTIC AUCTION - CONSIGNOR INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in consigning to our  Barbie Mail Auction. Mail Auctions are a fun and exciting way to sell! We are looking for all types of Barbie treasures to make our auction appealing to both beginning and advanced collectors. We accept single dolls, sets of a dozen dolls or a complete collection of Vintage Barbie & Family dolls, complete outfits and licensed items.  All items that are considered for our auction must come from a smoke free and pet free environment.  If items being considered for auction exhibit any storage odors, those items unfortunately cannot be considered for our auction.

We offer consignment or outright purchase, if we feel you would be served better. Get the prices you have dreamed of! Give us a call toll free to discuss your options at 1-877-59-DOLLS(36557). We will only recommend what is in your best interest.

Please, print out and complete the form below. Be sure to include a complete description of each item. Please note that minimum bids are not accepted on items because they  inhibit the bidding process by discouraging bidders.

Please, do not send any items without prior approval. We cannot be responsible for these items. Once we receive your Consignor Request Form, we will contact you to advise you if the items are accepted into the auction and when to send them. We encourage you to included a packing list of each item that is contained in your box and label each of your items with your initials.  Prior to auction, we will mail you a proof of your listing for your approval listing all items sent for the auction.  We do give you our commitment that once your item(s) are approved and do arrive, they will be stored safely in a temperature controlled environment with monitored security protection, and they will be carefully catalogued. Items remain in our possession until the close of the auction.

Approximately 30 - 45 days after the close of the auction, you will be sent payment in the amount of the winning bids, less our commission rate which is 30%*. The 30 - 45 day waiting period is necessary to allow time for payment to be received from winning bidders; layaways are also available to our winning bidders, which accounts for some of the extra time during the waiting period. As is customary in all auctions, all sales are final, unless something was listed incorrectly or overlooked.  If for any reason an item is returned to us, or a bid is not honored, you will be given the option of placing you item(s) in our next auction or having the item returned to you.

[*fee can vary, based on individual basis.  If more work is involved then the fee increases to 35%. Consignor will be notified if this is the case.]

The fine print: Any single item that does not get a bid, will incur a $20. charge, as we have to cover our costs to photograph (and or) the time to describe and list the item(s) in the book.
